  Second Grade! 

We hope to work together as a team to help your child’s second grade year be a very successful one. If at any time you do have a concern, please feel free to contact me at the school 279-3145.

 STAR Logs
Our school will be using a school wide student responsibility tool. These white binders include an agenda for homework and tabs for organizing paperwork. Please ask your child to explain this tool daily!

 Discipline Plan
Our discipline plan has clear expectations, consequences and rewards. Each student is expected to follow these expectations, and therefore, spend as much class time as possible learning with no distractions. Discipline issues will be handled quickly, and you will be notified of any on going problems.

Prize Box
We will be using a Prize Box during the year to use for student rewards. If you would like to donate several small items to put in as prizes, please feel free to send the items in with your child periodically throughout the year ( party favors, erasers, stickers, pencils, small toys etc.). Any donation would be greatly appreciated. These small treats mean so much to our students, and to us!

We are looking forward to working with your child. We anticipate a wonderful year!
