Assignments for May 21-25, 2012 Monday: Homework is a math skill keeper. Study guide comes home for our plant resources test on Thursday. Please read through it with an adult. Permission slip is also coming home for our second grade swim party at the Dedmon Center on May 30th. Tuesday: Homework is a reading assignment from your good fit bag. An adult should sign your reading log to show Mrs. Boyd. Study for your plant resources test on Thursday. Wednesday: Homework is a math skill keeper. Be ready for your plant resources test tomorrow. **Wear running shoes for PE tomorrow. Thursday: Homework is a reading assignment from your good fit bag of books. An adult should sign your reading log to show Mrs. Boyd. Please dress appropriatly for our Spring Fun Day tomorrow. Wear running shoes and sunscreen for our afternoon outside time. **Book fair closes tomorrow. Friday: No homework...Have a great weekend! ***Please remember your 15 minutes of daily reading. TARGET SKILLS FOR THE WEEK: Reading: Review and practice all skills for second grade. (2.1-2.12) Math: Review and test Science: Plant Resources (2.8) Social Studies: Diversity (2.10) Looking ahead: May 21-25 - Book Fair: Buy one book and get one free. May 25th - Spring Fun Day May 26th - Musical Share Day with Mrs. Findley 1. Play piano if they take lessons 2. Bring in a musical instrument to share 3. Sing (alone or with friends) 4. Dance 5.Rap 6. Write a biography of their favorite performer and share some of their music (Have to bring in CD or Ipod.) May 30th - End of the year assembly at 9:45 with the followig awards being presented:
