Welcome to Mrs. Kluttz's Music Web Page! *********************** MUSIC ignites the imagination elevates the mind and lets the spirit soar! ***************************************** Dear Parents, It is a priviledge to teach your child in music class this year. We are having fun singing, dancing and playing different kinds of instruments. The students are differentiating between the steady beat and rhythm. They are also learning note names and their values. I hope to instill in your child a love and appreciation for different kinds of music. The fifth graders have made a lot of progress on their recorders. They have the opportunity to play a song for me individually, each week that they come to music class. They earn karate belts each time they pass a song, and record their progress on a chart. Some of our students played their recorders during the North Carolina Symphony concert, and all of the students sang" Ode To Joy" in German. I was very proud of them. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if I can be of any help. Musically yours, Mrs. D. Kluttz ********************************************** |
