 Other~Health and Art tomorrow.Dear Fifth and Sixth Grade Parents-The students voted on whether or not they would exchange Valentines next week.By large majority they voted to give Valentines.We said that the majority vote would rule,so everyone will be giving classmates some type of Valentine.They may be purchased cards,handmade/homemade cards,or small kind of candy.Students should have one for each member of his/her class.I have asked them to keep these things in mind--"kind" cards only (they can be funny but not the "mean" type meant to be a joke that could hurt someone's feelings),any candy must follow safe-snack guidelines,same tokens should be given to each classmate (no larger gifts for best friends,etc.This should be done out of school to avoid any hurt feelings). Students can bring in Valentines on Mon.or Tues.morning.
