READING/VOCABULARY: Unit 8 Test Friday.


Reading "The Giver" by Lois Lowry, in class.  For many students this is their first experience reading Science Fiction.  The world Jonas lives in seems perfect. No war, perfect weather, no pollution, bicycles instead of cars. But in pursuit of perfection somethings are lost.  Jonas will find out that his perfect world is not so perfect after all.
