Fitness Factor Challenge ... How can you build abdominal and upper body strength? I challenge you to follow a weekly exercise schedule (click on download document "Fitness Factor Weekly Schedule"), which consists of situps and pushups, and will only take about 2 to 5 minutes to complete per day. The schedule includes sets and repitions for each exercise. Intensity levels of sets and reps increase by the week. The exercise schedule is designed for beginners. For those who find it quite easy to do can increase the number of sets and reps so that they can endure a higher, more challenging intensity level of activity. Students will follow this schedule during their physical education class time, and will be completed as part of their warmup routine. I encourage them to extend the challenge at home... Are you willing to stick to the plan? Do you want to see results...improve upper body strength and abdominal strength? "The ball is in your court"... It's up to you!!!
Physical Education Philosophy Starblazers are "ARTFUL SPORTS FIGURES" who can rise to the highest level of athletic and creative ability. To achieve such goals, starblazers can be: athletic/sport performers... track stars, runners, basketball players, gymnasts, etc. interpreters of sports skills and techniques... how we feel when we participate in sports, detectives on the historical perspectives and origination of sports... where did the Olympics orginate, etc. and, judges of athletic performance... determine how we can improve and exceed to ultimate levels of achievement. PHYSICAL EDUCATION DAILY TERMS to know: PERSONAL SPACE/KINESPHERE - the area around homebase. GENERAL SPACE - the space students all share; the area within their boundaries.
