Welcome to Kindergarten!

We are excited to start our year and to share the fun of learning.  This page will help you to know some of our expectations and plans for the year.

Reading:

This year we will learn all the letters of the alphabet and their sounds.  We will begin to sound out words and read short stories.  The curriculum we use is Readwell.  It is a phonics based curriculum.  Students will be put in groups dependent on their skills and will progress through the curriuculum at their own level.

Math:

We are starting a new math program this year, Math Connections.
