May Greetings!

Congratulations to our IMPACT Academy Award winners from the 4th grade! All of our IMPACT projects this year continue to be outstanding.
There will be chicks hatching in several classrooms this month. We are thankful to our Extension representative for providing incubators etc. so that our students have this learning experience.
2nd graders are busy working with Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. Scruggs, their teachers and assistants on claymation projects. Please look for those finished displays later this month.
Math Staff Development at all grade levels continues to give us time to collaborate about our instruction.
Writing Workshop continues with Unit 4 in K-2 and Unit 3 in 3-5. Some of our teachers visited Union County on their workday to glean new insight for this new initiative.
Our hallways stay covered with samples of our students' handiwork. Our students,teachers and support continue to use all of the technology available to them to enhance their learning.
A special thanks to the PTA who has provided such thoughtful things to celebrate Teacher Appreciation week.
The AR committee continues to do a bang up job of celebrating our success in Reading. Another AR celebration has been completed and the students are looking forward to the next one.
It is hard to believe that we are in the last few weeks of school. The teachers and students have learned so much together this year. We have a wonderful learning community here at Millbridge.
A special thank you goes out to all of the volunteers who are always lending a hand throughout our school . Students at Millbridge have so many people that care about their learning each and every day.
