Social Studies- Mrs. Gold

For most tests, this corrections policy will enable your student to examine and correct their mistakes and raise their test grade. Students should complete the following process. By completing this process, your child can earn back up to half of the points that they lost if they complete the process correctly.

  • Use a separate sheet of paper
  • Use a proper heading and follow standards for written work
  • Write out the question that you got wrong with the correct answer fully written out
  • At the end of corrections, write a paragraph on why you did not do well on the test or quiz. This reflective piece is an important part of the learning process. It helps the student and my teaching practices.
  • proof read and check for correct spelling and grammar
  • get a parent/guardian signature
  • staple original quiz/test to the corrections
