This Year in Fourth Grade:

We had a great year in fourth grade this year! Here are a few of the highlights of the year...

We had 4 new students join our class throughout the year. By the end of the year we had an equal number of boys and girls in our class!

In October we teamed up with the sixth graders and went on our annual field trip to the Dallas Arboretum. Here we enhanced our Social Studies cirriculum by learning more about the pioneer life of Texas. We learned many interesting facts that we were able to use as we did some follow-up activities/projects with our sixth grade friends back at school.

As a class we read two novels this year..."Number the Stars", a book about WWII, and "Lion,Witch, and the Wardrobe". We did some fun activities like designing our own kingdoms and cooking Turkish Delight!

We had a great time with our 2 year old buddies! We loved going to their classroom and playing, as well as taking them to "big kid" chapel with us.

Mileage Club was a great way to exercise, and we earned several free dress days from Mrs. Frischmann.

Three different times this year we had the opportunity to go to the Forum Retirement Community to visit with some of the residents there. We even had the chance to play "Family Feud".

In May we took our final field trip to the Resistol Arena in Mesquite for their annual "Farm Day". We had a great time learning about the agriculture of our great state.
