Video Production

This is a course which introduces the concepts of tevevision production and  broadcast journalism.

In this class the student will:

-experience the use a real TV studio.

-recognize the ability to work well in group situations.

-interpret the concepts of putting a news show together

- prepare a "news package."

- write an effective news story.

- Practice persuasive writing by learning how to write an editorial.

Major Assignments include:

News story                  5%

Editorial                      5%

News package             20%

Training script              30%

News show                 40%

P.A.C.E. = participation, attitude, cooperation, and effort will also be considered when determining overall grades.
