Books We Have Read

Every quarter each student is required to read four books. Some students are confused and think that the books they have read in past semesters count towards this goal. They need to read 4 different books each semester! I have an extensive classroom library and there is also the school media center for those students who just can't seem to find anything they like or want to read.

Reading Logs

Reading Logs are to be turned in on Monday of every week. Logs should be fully and accurately completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Each Monday the students will be given a new log for that week.
The Reading Log will help me follow the progress your children make as they read the four required books each semester. Please make sure the information on the log is accurate.

Instructional Focus

Wish List

Hand Sanitizer - This is a great way to stop the spread of germs in the class room.

Tissues - We will go through a box of 200 in about a month, more in the flu and cold seasons.

Reams of Paper - This is probably the most needed thing for a teacher. Handouts, tests, quizzes, and letters home all require paper to design.

If a student brings in any of the items from this list they will be awarded a homework pass, good for one night off from homework! (Not valid on Reading Logs)

Thank you in advance helping promote your children's education.

The information above can be changed at any time due to unforeseen events and changes in schedule.
