MS CLASSES
6B will begin Music/Theatre class beginning January 6. They will be rehearsing for "Macbeth, the Musical Comedy" to be performed in February. All 5th and 6th grade students will be dressed in black t-shirts (with no writing or pictures), black jeans, black socks and shoes for this "Black Box Production". It is important that all students in the production who are not in music class this quarter rehearse their scripts at home and listen to the music as much as possible. The project for this class will be announced on Monday, January 12.
Third Quarter Theatre Arts class - an elective class - will begin classes on Tuesday, January 6. This third quarter class will be producing and starring in the play, "Bullies Annoyomous", and directing the Mardi Gras Parade. They will also be designing "circles of light" for "Spotlight on HSES". Also in the works for this quarter is the design of the 'official t-shirt' for the class. Each student will need to bring a solid black t-shirt for this project.
Third and fourth grade classes will begin their rehearsals of recorder karate. Third grade will begin with learning notes, and fourth grade students will begin their second year of instruction.
