Welcome to Mr. Zelin's School Notes Page!!   

Parents selected for Breezy Point Field Trip:  Thomas Haass, Max Birnbaum, Nadav Shterenboim, Bryce Machalek, Sami Assaf, Sydney Fingerhood, Rachel Fenton, Anna Behm and  Dana Edwards.  There will be a meeting next Wednesday, May 30th from 4:30-5:30 p.m. to go over the stations and explain your roles and responsibilities while at Breezy Point.  We are looking forward to an exciting culmination to our study of the Chesapeake Bay.  If you can not make the session next Wednesday, please contact your child's science teacher, so that they can get the information out to you.  Thanks again for volunteering your time!!!   

If you were not selected to go on the field trip and had checked off that you were interested in going, you are welcome to drive yourself up to Breezy Point and meet us there.  Your child is required to ride on the school bus there and back.  If you should have any questions please feel free to email your child's science teacher.

All Math textbooks need to be returned to Mr. Zelin tomorrow!!!!  Any lost text book will cost $65 to replace.    

Permission Slips to Breezy Point went home today with students.  Permission Slips are due this Friday, May 25th.  Thanks!

FIELD DAY is tomorrow.  Our class color is blue for the afternoon.  Please remember that Lunch is from 12:15 - 12:45.  An adult must come to the classroom to pick up any students that are eating with them.

-Go over Equations Quiz and on a seperate sheet of paper, retry any problems that you got incorrect and bring both papers back to school.  Quiz is to be signed by parents.

I am happy to share with you that Wayside Elementary School has purchased IXL on-line math program. This a an excellent program that the students will be using at school, as well as at home. This will count in place of their fact frenzy. Your child has been given a user name first and last name with the number 945. (ex. kevinzelin945) then the password wayside. Check out the website at http://www.ixl.com I hope that you all find this to be a wonderful practice and educational web site.

Math 5 (A.M. Math Block):
