LanguageArts: We are continuing our unit “Away We Go”.  Our theme is “Look at My Garden Grow.” Ourcomprehension strategy is main ideas.  Skillsinclude:  learning what an index is andcomparing and contrasting.

Vocabularywords:  growth   cycle  patient

Highfrequency words:  along  past black  always  air

Math:  Skills covered this week include:  removing objects from groups, measuringtemperature, capacity, and skip counting to 10. Handouts may be given nightly for homework. Please complete them eachnight and return them to school the next day.

Writing/Language/Grammar:  We will be writing a 5page book about plants.

Spelling:  flap club  flag  slip clap  sled  flower said  her  here

Testwill be Friday.  Write the words 3times each on the sheet of looseleaf paper stapled in this packet.
