Fourth Grade News
Spring is finally here. We are ready to begin our last nine weeks of fourth grade. It is hard to believe that we are in the final stretch of the school year. We have just completed our Practice EOG assessments April 1st -3rd. The students worked very hard and we are extremely proud of them. These assessments will help to guide us in our preparation for the Fourth Grade EOG. We will begin to focus on specific skills and strategies. Your child will be bringing home some EOG vocabulary, please go over these words with them. You will be hearing a lot more about test preparation later on. The dates for the EOG are May 27-29. Please keep these important dates in mind. Thank you to everyone that helped to make our Doughnut Fundraiser successful. We sold over 300 boxes. All students were able to go to Raleigh and we have money left to spend on our students. Thank you again for all of your support. We also want to thank you for coming to the All About Me power point presentations. The students worked very hard on their auto-biographies, and they enjoyed presenting them. Some important dates to remember in April : April 10- Early Dismissal 12:30 Mini-March Bring $1 to eat lunch outside April 13-April 17- Spring Break April 24- 3rd 9 weeks Awards for 3-5 This is a busy time of year for all of us, even at school. Talk with your child each day about the activities they are taking part in at school. Help them to know that what happens at school is important. Thank you for all that you do.
