Third Grade Math:

** Due to the disaster drill and the shortened math class, there have been some changes in the Third Grade homework.

IXL O.1-O.9 to study telling time skills for next chapter.   We will also begin multiplication with the start of the new year.  They can practice facts on F.1-F.10 to start sharpening these skills.

This week's vocabulary: elapsed time, schedule, calendar, leap year, time line

Monday: Telling Time Practice Worksheet / Practice x3 facts

Tuesday: Worksheet (PW 7.3) / Review facts x1-3

Objective: Students will use a clock or elapsed time strip to measure elapsed time. 

Wednesday: Worksheet (PW 7.4) / Practice x4 facts

Objective: Students will use a schedule to determine elapsed time.

Thursday: Worksheet (PW 7.5) / Review facts x1-4

Objective: Students will use a calendar to determine a sequence of events.

Thursday: Worksheet (PW 7.6) / Review facts x1-4

Objective: Students will use a time line to determine a sequence of events.

 4th Grade Math

4th Grade - Continue practicing multiplication (D.1-7) and division (E.1-E.3) on IXL as well as Mixed operations (F.1-F.4)

This Week's Vocabulary: 

Monday:  Worksheet (PW 10.4)

Objective:  Students will multiply 3 & 4-digit numbers by1-digit numbers.

Tuesday: Worksheets (PW 10.5)

Objective: Students will multiply numbers with zero by 1-digit numbers.

Wednesday: Worksheets (10.6)

Objective: Students will solve word problems by writing an equation.

Thursday: Chapter 10 Review

Objective: Prepare for Ch. 10 Assessment test on Friday
