Retired from Wilton Public Schools  - my pages have been removed relating to the PE Program from this site and the school site.

I am recently retired.  I loved every minute I taught and will now spend more time with my family, especially my grandkids.....Tyler, Jaden,Tanner, Jordan, Gavin and Ava Grace, our first granddaughter.

Middlebrook has a phenomenal physical education program and dedicated teachers to guide students toward an appreciation of their future fitness skills/life skills and an understanding of the importance of optimum health.

It was a honor to teach, in my opinion, among the BEST of the best. I will cherish my teaching experience forever. I am, however, enjoying retirement....more time to do less..never changes!

                                                                               NEWS FLASH!

Middlebrook was just chosen as a BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL by the Department of Education..quite an honor. To see specifics, go to the Wilton Public Schools website, click on schools, choose Middlebrook and read a letter written by Julia Harris.  Julia is the principal of Middlebrook School.  Congratulations to all.

I  attended a reunion for The Stratford Brakettes (Raybestos Brakettes) as a former player in July 2011.  Former players include Team USA Players, Softball Hall of Fame Players and Olympic Players. It was an honor and priveledge to be part of an organization devoted to the past history and future promotion of Women's Fastpitch and sports for women.

Welcome back to the 2011-2012 school year. As stated, I am currently retired and enjoying life with my six grandchildren. My mother recently passed away...an irreplacable treasure.  What an inspiring and gracious lady.

Please support dedicated educators and not Governor Malloy's  newly proposed law. Malloy has a myopic perspective when it comes to his understanding of teachers and tenure. If a teacher is not making the grade, there are a number of ways to terminate that teacher , with or without tenure.

Termination of  teachers who fail to meet professional expections, should be handled by the administrative staff. Tenure is  truly misunderstood. Walk in our shoes, Governor. I know your proposed law would be altered significantly, if you would dare to try them on.  One size does not fit all.
