Today I will pass back Entry # 62 - Ch 8-14 quiz from Friday.

I will also pass out Entry # 63 - Ch 15 - 22 Vocab

Finally I will also pass out Entry # 64 - Silent Partner Discussion Journals for Chapters 19 and 20.

Today we will pick up where we left off and together read what is left of chapter 18. Once we have all finished with chapter 18 I will then divide the kids up into pairs and they will  spend the next couple of days working in their silent partner groups. The kids will need to bring Entry # 64 with them and actively work on it while reading. Elaboration will be very important with this activity. The journals should reflect a well thought out discussion between the children.

The kids will have the first part of the class to finish their silent partner journals and the second half we will spend reading and discussing the last two chapters of our novel.

Homework: The lightning Thief test will be given on Monday - for those couple of classes that still have a page or two left we will finish reading prior to the test.

Monday 11/23 - No Warm-up today

A couple of classes will need to finish the last couple of pages of our novel. Following that we will take our final Unit test.
