Hello and welcome to the 2008-2009 school year!!!

I am Mrs. London and I teach 6th grade Language Arts. I am very excited to be teaching your child this year.

This website is a great way of communication and a great way to stay informed of what your child is doing in class. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to all of us having a wonderful year together!!

***Parents and students with the flu and cold season in full swing we are in need of boxes of tissues and hand sanitizer. We go through countless numbers of both these items. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone would like to donate reams of paper or used ink cartriges, those would be greatly appreciated as well!!

If you have any used or new books that you would like to donate to our classroom library that would be very much appreciated as well.

Thank you so much for your help!!

**Please be advised that all of these plans are tentative and are subject to change at any given time.

I look forward to a great year with all of you. Please check this site often to see what is going on.

Mrs. London

The end of the first quarter is quickly approaching.  Parents and students please remember that all work assigned must be turned in for you to receive credit for it.  Also students should be writing down their agendas everyday in all classes.  Parents please be sure to sign your child's agendas weekly.  Agendas are a great way to communicate. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to write them in your child's agenda.

WEEK of October 13--17

Students will be working on a story in the Interactive Reader
they will work on many skills while reading the story
"Top of the World"
We will also be working on writing through our writing program
PowerEd.
