You may now view our basketball and wrestling concessions dates on the calendar associated with this page to help you decide what dates you can sign up to work.  Once you know your available dates and times please contact Carol Swanson at carol.swanson@yukonps.com to sign up.

NOTE:  We specificall need help from our Middle School parents on December 8 since this is the High School Band's winter concert.

Concessions move to Basketball in the 9/10 Building will be Saturday November 21, 2009 at 1:30pm.  We will move the items that we need to do basketball and wrestling concessions and put the rest in storage.  We can get this knocked out in about 3 hours if we have a lot of help.  Contact Rob Hyam  at rob.hyam@faa.gov if you have any questions.

Our December Bandbooster meeting will be at the Winter Band Concert - in effect we will not formally meet until January.

OBA Contest videos are available for purchase; reserve your copy through Michelle Mullins: mmullens@snu.edu.  Cost of each video is $17 per DVD.  Each DVD is our Band Only in Prelims Mixed; Finals Mixed & Wide Finals Wide. TV Quality Video of our Band. It is a multi camera production with great audio, mixed & switched live.  A DVD package of our band and of all bands and the massing is also available.  See Michelle for details.  ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY NOVEMBER 13.

from time to time booster parents work for, own businesses, or know businesses who are able and willing to donate concessions and related items.  here is a brief list of items that can be donated* and that are of high value to us:

• bottled water - 16 ounces or more(may have company logo)
• plastic or wax cups - may have company logo(must be 21 - 24 ounces.  no styrofoam)
• bulk chips (frito or nacho)
• meals for band kids
  • businesses and churches often sponsor meals for our kids
    • before football games
    • at marching contests
    • for band banquet in the spring

*yukon band boosters is not a 501c3 organization at this time and as such cannot issue irs tax deductible credit.  we are working on making changes in our organization to 501c3 status and could assistance from parents who have knowledge/skill in this area.  contact rob hunt if you are interesed in assisting in this project.  rhunt@nwbc.tv.
