Notes from the School Week:

Math: We concluded our second graphing unit with presentations of graphs made after formulating questions and polling the class. We will end the school year with our problem solving DSPA.

Language Arts: We took the SAWS last week, and we are in the process of wrapping up Unit 4 in Treasures. We have one more weekly reading assessment to take before the end of the year reading test. Will finish the year with a few of the best stories from units 5 & 6, including one about Shackleton's voyage to Antarctica and one about the Navajo Code Talkers, along with everyone having a role in a readers' theater production.

Science: We wrapped up our physical science units and have moved on to earth and space.

Social Studies: We have already had our test over the Northeast. The South will be tested on Monday. Students will be learning the Midwest region next, and we will conclude the school year with the West. Any help you can give your child in practicing the states, captials, abbreviations, landforms, and bodies of water is greatly appreciated!
