Honors English III - Students should finish reading Of Mice and Men by Wednesday and prepare, in groups, presentations on elements of the novel - Foreshadowing, Characterization, Themes - The American Dream, Steinbeck's social commentary, Literary Connections to The Scarlet Letter and The Great Gatsby, Romanticism and Realism. They wil then have a choice between a literary essay or a project based on a concept from the novel.
