****Dates and things to Remember****

      -Tuesday, May 12-Hawaiian Falls permission note and money due.

      -Thursday, May 14-Growth and Development Permission notes due back.

        These will come home on Monday.

       -Friday, May 15-Field Day-Parents, please apply sunscreen and insect sprray  BEFORE sending students to school.  No aerosols are allowed on our campus.  SPF should be at least 15, but higher is better.

Reading/Language Arts

Zippy Reader-Please remember that this is to be turned in on Friday with a parent signature for each night of reading (25 minutes a night/100 minutes a week). The books that are being read, must be AR books.

We have finished our novel study!!  I do believe the kids enjoyed the novels.  We continue to work on the culminating activity.  

Spelling

We will have a spelling pretest on Monday, May 11 over unit 33.  If your child makes a 100 on the pretest, he/she will not have spelling options for the week, and will not have to take the test on Friday. If he/she does not make a 100, your child must complete 3 spelling options due Thursday, and take the spelling test over unit 33 on Thursday.

Social Studies

We start Chapter 16 in History Alive.  We will have a test over Chapter 16 on Friday, May 15th.  Please use historyalive.com to study.
