Hello! For all first time visitors, welcome. Our chorus program at CGMS is one of the finest in the region, and we have some exciting events planned for this year.
We just presented our fall concert on Monday night, October 13, at 7:30 at Corriher-Lipe Middle School. We appreciate being able to use their beautiful auditorium and sound system. All three grade levels performed music ranging from classical to folk to current popular hits to a quick review of major hits from all decades of the 20th century! We appreciate the donations from our supporters. Our next concert will take place at South Rowan on Tuesday, December 16, at 7:30 PM.
This year we are using our new textbooks "Making Music" with all three grade levels and exploring music with technology. We have purchased a new keyboard with lots of interesting percussion sounds and built-in sequencing capabilities, plus new percussion instruments for world music drumming!
I am also very excited about our recycling program at CGMS. We now have a "Green Club" dedicated to learning more about how to preserve our environment. Concerned students manage the recycling program, water the plants, and are now busy planning a "big sweep" for our nature trail. Yes, We at CGMS can make a difference!
To all my former students: good luck in high school, college, or in "life!" Stay in touch, and always, ALWAYS, keep a song in your heart. Make this world a little better place for your having been here!

I liked learning about composers and playing Beethoven Baseball. I had trouble with Time Machine, but it looked really good!
