SocialStudies:Body Systems investigations

Math:Practice flashcards, subtraction, word problems, money, graphing,place value to the hundredth place along with expanded notation (235=200+30+5).2-digit adding & subtracting without regrouping.

Reading Charts

Please remember to turn in at least one Reading Chart a week. Students who have read at least 100 books or chapters by the middle of May will join Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Taylor's classes at Moon Valley Park on May 29 at 9:30-approx. noon for a Jamba Juice/Pizza/Games, Reading Celebration walking field trip.

Feb.9:Mrs.Brown's Love & Logic Parenting Classes @ Vaseo Apts. 6-8pm. You can still sign up. $25/per person.

Feb.7: Field Trip:Bodiology at the Orpheum Theater Info./Moon Valley Park afterwards for lunch. Any parent is welcome to meet us at the park for lunch.

Feb.10:Patriotic Assembly at 9:00am on sport courts. Everyone is welcome. 2nd grade is singing!

March 1:Happy Valley Recycle Center field trip 9:00-1:30

April 23-Desert Outdoor Center at Lake Pleasant Field Trip, 9:00-1:30
