Reading:We will not be reading a story out of Storytown this week.

To read the story at home LOG ON TO www.thinkcentral.com and your child can read their weekly story online! Here are the instructions.

1.   Log onto www.thinkcentral.com

2.   Pick the correct state, dist. (Washington Elementary School Dist.), and school (Lookout Mt.)

3.   Username is your child’s cafeteria number.

4.   Password: Simple type the word student.

5.   Click on the far left: Reading and Language.

6.   Click on: Storytown

7.   Click on: Library

8.   Click on: Student ebook

9.   Read and enjoy, click on arrows to go to the next page.

Odds and Ends

Homework:

Please send in 1 wire hanger for an upcoming project.

Reading Charts:At least one is due every week.

Bag Books:On Mon. your child will bring home a class book and a pink notebook to do 1 activity in. The book and pink notebook are both due on every Fri.

Spelling:Study regularly.

Scholastic Book orders online:Go to www.scholastic.com/books, user name:brainybunch618, password:brainybunch618. Orders are due asap.

Upcoming Events: 

Mrs. Brown is  collecting money for an event she is participating in called, Feed My Starving Children. She will be joining 4,800 people during the week of Nov. 30- Dec.5 to package premix food in sealed containers. The goal is to make 1 million meals to send out to starving children around the world. 95% of every dollar goes to help starving children. It will cost $200,000 to make enought mix to feed all these children, so she asking for donations to put toward this cause. If you would like to donate online go to www.fmsc.org or www.ccvonline.com and click on Feed My Starving Children. Or if you'd just like to send in a donation to the classroom she'll make sure it gets to the right place. Flat Stanley is coming along to help too and he'll report back on how the event went.

Fall Festival:Sat. Nov. 21. Join us for lots of fun, food, and a good time at Lookout Mt.

Nov. 23:H1N1 Flu shots offered at school. If you want your child to get on, be sure to return the permission slip.
