Policies

Grading: Grades are equally weighted. Homework is directly related to the instruction and is occasionally graded.

The grading scale for the county is as follows:

A—93-100

B—85-92

C—77-84

D—70-76

F—Below 70

Homework:

Math homework is given daily, except for Fridays. Reading homework is usually a long term assignment and the student has more than one day to complete it. If homework is turned in late, the student is given silent lunch for that day. If a graded assignment is turned in late, points are deducted for each day the assignment is late.

2nd Incident: Note sent home in planner

3rd Incident: Parent phone call

4th Incident: Citation sent to the principal

Positive Reinforcement: Big Bucks earned for great thinking and good citizenship can be spent at the quarterly Big Buck store.
