Ms. Ross' News November 2-6 *Spelling-There will be three different spelling groups this year. You will find your child's spelling list in his or her homework bag. Red Group: pink, thank, bank, think, trunk, wing, sang, long, bring, hung Blue Group: mean, peas, meat, eat, bean, team, beat, leave, seat, meal Yellow Group: eat, get, four, into, did *Reading- We will be using the Reading Milestones series. *Language- The letter of the week is K. Everyday we practice a handwriting page. We will begin to do daily edits together as a class on the board. We will start learning about describing words. *Writing- Everyday we write a journal entry starting with "Today is..." We then as a class write and edit sentences in our journals. We will also be doing different writing activities in our journal. *Math-Continue working on telling time. * Graded work will go home on Friday in an green folder. Please sign and return with your child on Monday. *Homework bags are sent home on Mondays. They need to be returned by Thursday.
