WE DO GO OUTSIDE UNLESS IT IS BELOW 0.  WHEN IT SNOWS, PLEASE SENDSNOW BOOTS AND SNOW PANTS FOR YOUR CHILD.  WE DO GO OUTSIDE THREE TIMESA DAY AS LONG AS IT ISN'T BELOW 0.  IF YOUR CHILD DOESN'T HAVE SNOWBOOTS, THEY WILL HAVE TO STAY ON THE BLACKTOP.  IF YOUR CHILD HAS SNOWBOOTS, THEY CAN GO ON THE BLACKTOP AND PLAYGROUND.  IF YOUR CHILD HASSNOW BOOTS AND SNOW PANTS, THEY CAN GO ON THE BLACKTOP, PLAYGOUND, ANDTHE GRASS.  PLEASE REMIND YOUR CHILD THEY CAN NOT THROW SNOW AT SCHOOL!

SHOW AND TELL IS ON FRIDAY.  YOUR CHILD MAYBRING SOMETHING TO SHOW AND SHARE WITH THE CLASS.  THE ITEM MUST FIT INYOUR CHILD'S BACKPACK.  THERE WILL BE NO LIVE ANIMALS FOR SHOW AND TELLDUE TO ALLERGIES.

INTO THE CLASSROOM AND TO THE TEACHER.  PLEASE REMIND YOURCHILD THAT IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO GET THEIR FRIDAY FOLDER OUT OFTHEIR BACK PACK ON MONDAYS.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION!!






Library Day is on Wednesday! Bring back Library books by Wednesday.



Wehave P.E. on Tuesday and Friday. If your daughter wears a skirt, besure she wears shorts under it. If your child wears flip-flops, pleasemake sure that they have P.E. shoes. Without tennis shoes, they willnot be able to participate in P.E.



MATH:
          Weare continuing with numbers 6-12.  When we write our numbers, we havesayings to help the kids recall how to write them.  I have posted thesesayings below.  We continue to review patterns and  sorting andclassifying.  Please have your child do some extra sorting at home. Such as sorting those socks that nobody likes to sort through,silverware, etc.   Please ask you child to find patterns for you. Please review position words with your child every evening.

LANGUAGE ARTS:

      This week we are working on the word play.  We have learned thefollowing words so far this year  I, can, we, the, like, a, see, go,to,have, & is.  We are working with the letter  Ff this week.  We havelearned the following letters so far: Mm, Aa, Ss, Pp, Tt, Ii, Nn, Cc,& Oo.  Please review the sight words each night with your child. Ask your child to tell you things that start with Mm, Aa, Ss, Pp, Tt,Ii, Nn,Cc, & Oo.  We will be focusing on letters Oo, Ff, Hh, &Dd, and we will be focusing on the words is & play.
  

HANDWRITING:

 We are learning to write the letter Ff.  We will practice how to writeletter Mm, Aa, Ss, Pp, Tt, Ii, Nn, Cc, & Oo.  Please monitor yourchild's pencil grip when they are writing or coloring.   We continue topractice writing our name correctly on the lines.

    Rememberto be reading to your child daily.  When you have read to your childfor 15 days, please sign and send back their green calendar so they canget their free personal pan pizza and put up their sticker on thechart.  Your green colored December calendar will be due by Friday,January 8.  I will not accept them after this date.
