Welcome back! It is hard to believe we are begining another school year. During the first couple of weeks I do not have anything scheduled for the students. I will be conducting screenings later in the month of August. However, if there are any special request by teachers or parents to screen a student early I will be glad to screen upon request. Also, remember all medicines must be brought in by an adult and a medication authorization form must be signed before a medicine can be administered at school. Medicines must be in the original prescription bottle and labeled correctly with the child's name, dose, time to be given, and not expired. Every effort should be made to give medicines at home prior to school. Over the counter medications must have a doctors written order or statment of need to be medicated at school. Students are not allowed to carry medications or self medicate. In addition all medicines will be locked in the clinic and cannot be returned home each day. If you have any questions please visit or call me here at school. Monday - Friday 8:00 - 3:15 Pm. Sincerely, Shannon S. Mueller, RN |
