North Carolina History

 I have some fun projects planned to help your students have a better understanding about our diverse history.

This Week

American Indians in North American

and North Carolina

 

  • The Pacific Northwest
  • The Desert Southwest
  • The Plains
  • The Eastern Woodlands

 

We will also focus on compare/contrast,

inference, cause/effect,and identifyingpolitical and physical features on a map.

Current Events

The 8th grade students at WWMS will begin ayear-long project focusing on current events. Students will complete onecurrent event report every two weeks.

B DAY:September 25, 2009

       Personal Response

Students must be prepared to give oral reports on their current eventsand lead class discussions.
