8th Grade Parents: Before Christmas break I sent home a letter explaining the class's role in the Parish masses on Jan. 24 & 25.  It is extremely important that all students be in attendance for those masses.  Please let me know if your child has a conflict with any of the masses.

8th Grade Parents: Please sign & return the permission slip for next week's field trip. 

6th Reading -- choose a non-fiction book on any topic that you find interesting; details for the complete non-fiction book assignment will be given next week.

7th English -- complete sloppy copy #2 of your short story.  You may use your text book as a guide (pg. 587+)

7th Reading -- no homework

8th English -- mass today; no homework

8th Reading --complete the reading of "The Cop and the Anthem." Write a plot diagram on the story (make certain to include the O'Henry Twist)

8th Social Studies -- no homework

8th Spelling/Voc -- no homework
