Nov. 6, 2009 6th Grade Parents: The 6th grade literature class will be attending a live production of Treasure Island on Thurs. Nov. 12th from 9:00 - 12:00. Permission slips will be coming home tomorrow. Please return that permission slip and $8 by Tuesday, Nov. 10th. All Literature Classes -- book discussions are due Dec. 1st 6th Literature -- Island of the Blue Dolphin test will be given Monday. Be certain to study types of figurative language. 7th English -- APA style of referencing; no homework 7th Literature -- complete the reading & study guide questions for 7 & 8 for the Westing Game. 8th English -- begin creating your characters & a potential plot for a mystery (We will begin writing the actual mystery next week.) 8th Literature -- continue reading in your outside reading book 8th History -- complete chapter 18 study sheets 8th Vocabulary Development -- Greek prefixes due Monday |
