I am so excited that summer vacation is coming to a close!  I cannot wait for school to begin!   I look forward to seeing each of you at Open House on August 20th at 6:00 p.m.

A little background information...

I was born and raised in Wilkes County. 

I participated in Indoor Track during high school (at North).

In 2007, I graduated from ASU.  Go Mountaineers!! 

As part of my internship, I worked with Mrs. Williams in Kindergarten here at Mt. Pleasant.  From there, I completed my student teaching in 4th grade at NWES.

Upon graduation, I taught AIG at NWES and RRES.

As some of you may know, I taught Kindergarten this past year, so fourth grade will be a new (and exciting) experience for me.  This will mark my second year teaching in a public school setting. 

I am passionate about student learning and have high expectations for each child at Mt. Pleasant.

I love reading, chocolate, and Starbucks!
