The Choking Game at our Middle School
Parent, please come to the 50 minute Choking Game assembly Wednesday, October 21st. 
The assembly begins at 10:00 in the Auditorium.

Parents are always welcome to view this curriculum.  I have made changes to the 7th and 8th grade presentations and am looking for a new curriculum for 6th graders that includes bullying.  As I explore the new possibilities for 6th graders I’ll keep everyone informed.

COUNSELING SERVICES AT CMS
Drug and Alcohol Counseling will be available this school year through the ESD’s Prevention Specialist, Barbara Hansen.  Barbara works with students who are affected by other’s addiction or alcoholism.  She does this individually and in small groups. 
Barbara also meets with students who are required to have a drug and alcohol assessment and also meets with them individually and in small groups. 
She is at the High School, Tuesdays and in the Middle School,Wednesdays.


We have limited services through Jefferson County Domestic Violence Sexual Assault program this year and Patricia Cummings is the D.V.S.A. counselor in our building.  

Jefferson County Health Clinic
We have a two-day a week Health Clinic which is housed at Chimacum High School this year.  Patricia Flowergrowing is the mental health therapist.  She is at the clinic Thursdays and Fridays.
