May 21-May 29

This week is a busy week for us, but it is exciting.  I am going to list the things we will be doing until the last day of school and when these events will occur.

 Specials this week are the following:  Monday--Library, Tuesday-No School, Wednesday-Music, Thursday-PE, Friday-Library

Popcorn is sold on Wednesday, and it is fifty cents.

5th Grade Graduation is on Tuesday, May 22nd.  The schedule is as follows:

1:30-decorate commons area

3:30-decorate gym

4:45-Start arriving at HTE

5:10-First group leaves in limo

6:00-Graduation begins

6:45-7:30-Dinner and cake

7:30-8:30-Dance for students only, no siblings permitted

8:30-?-Clean-up

 On Monday we will be having field day, and it begins at 8:30.  Please send your child something to sit on because we will be outside all day long.  Also, please send sunscreen to prevent sunburns.

On Friday we will have our rocket launch.  I'm not sure what time we will be launching rockets, but I will let you know as soon as I can.  Students should bring spray paint to decorate their rockets.

On Tuesday, May 29th we will be having Step-Up Day, Beach Day, and it is the last day of school.  We will be leaving for Hurricane Middle School at 8:45.  We are usually there for about an hour and a half.  We will have Beach Day on this day as well.  Please send a towel, swimwear, and sunscreen for your child.  Girls should not bring bikinis to wear.  If that is the only type of swimwear they have, please send a t-shirt to put over their swimsuit.
