Kindergarten News, October 2008

The following is a list of concepts we will be teaching and reviewing for the month of October:

These skills will be taught along with the letters  Ll, Mm, Nn, Oo, Pp, Qq, Rr, Ss, Tt, and their sounds. We have learned the popcorn words, I, a, is, to, go, will, it, we, my, no, in, like, see. We will be making a Big Book each week and also we will be doing a unit on fall.  Please help your child with writing his/her first name correctly.  Some are still having trouble with this.  A weekly homework sheet will be sent home on Mondays.  Please take a few minutes each day to work with your child on these items.  Thank you for your support.
