Welcome to School Notes for the 3rd quarter.  My 6th and 7th grade classes are preparing for Florida Assessments.  AKA FCAT!

The students are busy writing 5 paragraph essays.

All students are practicing the art of critical thinking!  We are using the FCAT workbooks and the Glencoe Literature books.

Testing dates:

MOCK writing for 6th and 7th grade during the week of February 9th, 2009.  This essay will be graded by the Language Arts department.

FCAT READING & MATH testing starts March 10th and continues until March 19th.

Make sure your child is getting plenty of sleep and eating brain healthy foods! Thanks for a great year!
