Session III Info
The spring session of the after school program will begin the week of April 5th. Permission slips will be going home via Backpack Express and are also available in the gym lobby and in the link below and are due to Ms Pandolfo by Wednesday - March 31st. Since some programs fill up quick, there MAY BE a waiting list. Students will receive a notification slip of their entry into a program before the start of the program. Below is a list of activities that are being offered for the spring session. All activities are FREE unless noted.
The Golf program will be on Fridays after school and will begin the last week of April. More information to come...

Applied Technology II Did you like Applied Technologies? Then you'll love Applied Tech II! Motivation and experience with computer programming is required. Students will use software to program video games. Games cannot be violent and must be appropriate for school. | Volleyball Come play volleyball in the gym. Fishing Students will fish in the rivers around school. We fish rain or shine! Fishing poles will be provided. All ability levels are welcome. | Muffin Madness Join us to make muffins, eat and share. Muffin Madness is for people who like to bake, learn new things, and share with our community. Our group is proud to contribute muffins each week to the East Hartford Soup Kitchen. | Wiffle Ball Come play wiffle ball!! We will be playing outside, so be prepared. Open to all grades. |
Healthy Lifestyles - Food, Fun and Exercise Want a healthier lifestyle? Learn about what to eat, the benefits fo eating the right food and its relationship to exercise. We will be discussing healthy eating, trying out different types of exercise and the importance of a positive attitude. We will be going outside, so active participation in exercise is a must! | Chemistry is Cool Chemistry is all around us! Come see the different ways we experiment with chemistry and work with a real chemist, Samet Dy, and visit the Dur-A-Flex company in East Hartford where you can see chemistry in action and try some hands-on chemistry there, too. | |
Mized Sports Open to all grades!! | Tae Kwon Do Tae Kwon Do offers a fun way to learn self-defense and discipline. This is a great way to stay or get in shape! Walking Walking is a great fitness activity. We will be walking along the bike paths and trails around Two rivers. We walk rain or shine!! | $$ Bowling AMF Silver Lanes - come bowl!! This program is for all ability levels. Students will be coached by a certified bowling instructor. Activity fee includes cost of 3 games, shoe rentals and sanctioning fee. Requires a separate permission slip. | |
Rules & Policies
- Open to all Two Rivers students.
- Activities run from 3:30 - 5:00 unless otherwise notes.
- Registration consists of a completed and signed permission slip.
- Students MUST be picked up at 5:00.
- If there is a waiting list, 2 unexcused absences from a session will result in suspension for the remainder of the session.
- Good academic standing.
Sign Ups
Sign Ups will take place about two weeks before the session begins. Permission slips will be available in the gym lobby and the after school website on the school notes web page. Selection will be a lottery system based on signed permission slips received by the due date. Selected participants will be notified in homeroom within a couple days after the due date.
Consequences of Misconduct
Since the after school program is an extension of the Physical Education program and Two Rivers, students are expected to follow the same rules and procedures that have been set by the school and the Physical Education department.
- 1st offense - warning
- 2nd offense - 1 week suspension from the after school program
- Final offense - expulsion from the after school program for the remainder of the session
- Two Rivers administration reserves the right to remove students from the after school program at their discretion.
