HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

Welcome to 2009!  We're back to work and approaching the halfway point in this school year.  It's hard to believe.  I think everyone is rested and up to the task.

This Wednesday, Dennis Bowman is visiting our school.  Mr. Bileck will be sharing the times when it will be broadcast during the Channel 2 News.

We don't have any other special events until Catholic Schools Week, January 26-30.  Look for the schedule of events in the purple envelope.

Remember that Friday, January 16, is an in-service day, and Monday, January 19, is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  The children will not have school either of these days.

Since winter is officially here, it's a good idea to pay attention to the weather.  Watch channel 2, 4, or 11 for closings or delays.  Also, remember to send a hat and gloves to school with your child.  They will need them for recess.

If you need to contact me, please use email. My address is alapinski@alphaschool.org. This is really the quickest way unless you have an emergency. In that case, please call the office.
