When done a peer reads & positively responds. @ Monday Spelling Lesson 10. Review front side. Backside is homework. Give spelling pretest. @ Tues & Wed DLA Daily Language Activities: Proof-Reading / Editing @ Tuesday and Wednesday Literature read aloud: Beowulf @ Thursday spelling test (prior to going to library) @ Thursday Library: Take AR tests, Renew/checkout books, Read. Students can go to computer lab and get caught up on any missing technology assignments. Continue making Jeopardy game. @ Reminder: 2nd Book project due Dec. 12. PLUS 18 Accelerated Reading Points are due by Dec. 1st. @ Technology: On Fridays students will continue JEOPARDY categories for Parts of a Sentence & Parts of Speech. They are working in pairs within their groups. @ REVIEW: All homework activities are reviewed prior to sending home. This is Grammar! HomeWork: 1. Thank you! PRE-ALGEBRA DAILY ROUTINE for MONTHURS Upon entering the room students are to get out their homework and get ready for roll. Timed Drill: Multiplication, Division, Addition, Decimals, Integers. Warm-up: Exploration, Review, or Countdown to Mastery Activity Guided Practice this week will involve one secion of chapter 1:6 - Multiplying and dividing algebraic equeations Homework for the week: Monday: Tuesday: Practice Sheet with number line Wednesday: Puzzel Fun Worksheet with adding integers Thursday: Practice Worksheet applying negative integers. FRIDAY QUIZ, Notebook Check, and CATCH-UP day! This is a silent day for individual progress. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 5th period: 7th & 8th grade Title 1 Reading Class In class SSR for 10 minutes. Another 20 minutes are spent on a class read aloud novel. Currently we are reading Full Tilt. For homework each student should read for 20 minutes every night! 6th period: 5th & 6th grade Title 1 Reading Class we are on lesson 5. The students are making progress we can all be proud of! |
