Notes from Mr. Bartrug   - Tuesday update...

MISSION STATEMENT

The Yukon High School Band is a music-making community where students are given the tools and encouragement necessary for individual and group success.  Members utilize determination, pride, discipline and passion for music to achieve goals.  Our top priority is excellence of product and process.

Tonight is YUKON BAND NIGHT at the Yukon Interurban. I hereby give permission for everyone to eat out this evening. We get 10%!!!!!!!!

COMPETETIVE MARCHING SEASON IS OFFICIALLY OVER!

IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS.

NO EARLY REHEARSALS - SCHOOL BEGINS AT 7:41 A.M.

So many people to thank....

Parents, for taking great care of us,  for sewing buttons on uniforms,  for baking cookies and creating awesome cakes,  for passing out band-aids and water,  for cheering louder than any other parents at the contest,  for believing in our band, for countless other things I can't think of right now,  for being part of our "painting".

Staff, for working together in such a fantastic way.

Students, for trusting us, for buying into the concept, for doing all the crazy visuals without ever rolling your eyes, for being the best.

IT'S A BUSY WEEK!  I know - marching season is over.  But still - IT'S A BUSY WEEK!
