Welcome! My name is Janice Ward and I teach first grade at Youth's Benefit Elementary School. My mission is to create a positive classroom where children feel free to learn and explore new things. I believe that it is important to encourage and support new learning at all times. We are off to a great start this year and I am so excited about the months to come.

I hope this website is helpful to you. I will be updating each month and will put information on it such as, curriculum for the month, important dates, snack schedule, etc.

***Math Test on Thursday and Friday of this week. The main part will be given on Friday, but we are going to do a few things on Thursday. In your reference book, please review pages 1-7 and page 40. Hope this helps!
