Second Quarter News!!!
Conferences are this week!
Math:
We are working on Graphing and plotting on a grid!
Language Arts
We will soon be sending home a sheet with the 2nd quarter high frequency words. We will continue to have spelling words also. These spelling words go along with the word patterns in our Language Arts stories.
Science
We have had a great time learning about bats. Groups of students researched on the internet and prepared projects with what they learned. By presenting these projects, they taught their classmates all about bats!
Now we are reading Stellaluna!
Social Studies
We will soon be starting a Grade Level Unit on Voting and we will learn about the election.
Homework
Remember to make sure your child is doing homework each night. They should write their assignments in their agenda daily. THEY KNOW WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THEM! They should write math facts each night and they usually will only be assigned 1 side of a math sheet. They know which side!
