This month we will be focusing on POETRY.

 

Activities:

  • Students are working in poetry groups to complete their own poetry books. 
  • Students will use the projector to display their books and poetry during presentation week. 

Journal: Entries 1, 2, and 3 are out!

These entries are in 5 by 5 format and students will be writing about their feelings towards eighth grade as their seventh grade year comes to an end. They will also write about personal goals for next year. 

 

Homework:

  • Daily assignments (Monday-Thursday)  
  • Always read your chapter book!

My Comments:

7200 students: It has been a good year and a learning experience for me. As we get closer to the end, I ask you to continue to see yourself as eighth graders and honestly share your feelings and goals in your journal entries.
