Peace, Love, and Carnival

The School Carnival is May 8th!! Will your child be attending the carnival beginning at 3:00? Your child must be supervised during the carnival.  Please let your child know if you are picking them up at 2:55 by our classroom or if they are to go to the dismissal/bus area.

Fairy Tale Plays

Our class will present The Ugly Duckling and The Cheetah and the Sloth on Tuesday, May 12 at 1:30.  Our Award Ceremony will take place immediately following the plays.  Please plan to attend your child’s play and award ceremony.  Don’t forget your camera! 

Please ask your child what they need to bring to school this week for his/her costume.

  Student Led Conferences and Portfolio Picnic

May 11-15, 2009

Don’t forget to make a date with your child for lunch one day next week.  It will be your child’s chance to share their work from this school year with you. Parents, please bring a picnic lunch and blanket from home. Pick up your child from our classroom either 30 minutes before lunch or at our assigned lunch time (11:53). I will have your child’s portfolio and reflection forms ready to go. 

We go to the library this Wednesday.  All library books must be returned on or before Friday, May 15.
