WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE Parents, we are very sorry it has taken so long to update our page, we were having some technical difficulties.
******ALL Students need to bring a small snack size box of raisins to school on Monday, September 21st. They will be using the box of raisins in MATH! Thank you!
RC Reading Goals Each child's in fourth grade needs 30 RC pts. each quarter to be reach his or her reading goal. Students will get a new RC necklace this year and also we will continue giving Book-It Pizza Certificates for showing growth in Lexie Levels. Book Orders- Due to the newness Mrs. Craig and Mrs. Vestal to fourth grade we have not been able to get out accounts set up through Scholastic as quickly as we hoped. We will be sending home a book order as soon as possible. Please not cash, only checks or money orders made to scholastic.
Communication Corner!!!!!! Check your red folders daily for information about our classroom. Here's a reminder of a few things we are collecting at C.B. Eller Elementary School this year. We are collecting plastic bottle caps for recycling, aluminum cans for recycling, Box Tops for Education, and Campbell's Soup labels. All of these items help our school earn funds for supplies and equipment for the kids. We have collection pockets and containers in our room for all of these things. The cans of course go in the bins outside but the slips with the numbers of cans brought in do go in the appropriate pocket in the room. Thanks for your help with all of these! We are adding something to our list of collectibles for school. Juice Pouches - I know it may sound strange, but some really great things can be created using used juice pouches from Capri Suns and Kool-Aid Jammers. We will get .02 per pouch. Remove the straw and send the completely empty pouches to school in a plastic bag. Every little bit helps! Thanks for your hard work on projects like this! It is as easy as a click of a button, jut follow the link below! *****Reduce, Reuse, Recycle*****Reduce, Reuse, Recycle***** Fourth wants to help do all three of these things! One thing we're doing is recycling cans. Start bringing in those cans! Fill out a slip for the classroom. Drop the cans in one of the bins around the outside of the school. Currently we have collected 56 cans as a grade level. Help Fourth Grade lead the pack!
SUNNY Delight Sunndy Delight will donate 20 books to our classroom if we send 20 UPC in by November 11, 2009. Also, any UPC's we send in over 20 they will donated 10 cent for each one to the Children's Reading Foundation. Please send these in as soon as possible so we can get this projected started.
