Hello Parents and Students of  Hanford Dole We are so happy to have you guys back from the holiday break. We have learned our 12 POWERFUL words: Trace Analyze Infer Evaluate Formulate Describe Support Explain Summarize Compare Contrast Predict Ask your child if he/she can tell you what these words mean. Now let's UNRAAVEL: Underline the title Now Predict the Passage Run through and number the paragraphs Are you reading the questions Are the important words circled Venture (read) through the passage Eliminate the obvious wrong answers Let the questions be answered and write the paragrpah # where you found the answers next to the question. Parents, Please get to know these strategies with your kids. Please remember to be on your best behavior both at school and on the bus. We are continuing our 21st Century After School Tutoring/Enrichment Program for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. We are also continuing our SES (Supplemental Education Services) tutoring program.
