Students should come to school prepared! All students should bring supplies to class each day including plenty of loose leaf paper, pencils, and colored pencils.

Greetings students and family:

Incredible! In one week we will be at the half way point of our year and it continues to accelerate.  IMPORTANT!!  Science Fair projects and Alternative Projects are due to me by close of day on January 20.  The Science Fair is an incredible opportunity for the student to show their ability to work independently. Our first  quarter was preparation period  for this time.  I have given the students all the information I am permitted to give them , and its there turn to shine! Alternative projects are due the same day. If you have any questions, feel free to email me via the link on this page.

We will be continuing our study of photosynthesis this week and moving to review of symbiotic relationships. Study guides will be sent home on Friday in preparation for the test on Wednesday the 20th.

Following the two workdays we will be beginning a series on population dynamics as an integrated unit with the other teachers on the Livingstone Team.

Please continue to encourage your students to be vigilant in their work, as I have seen a tendency toward laziness in many students. As a parent myself, I had to encourage my seventh grader to not quit and to finish well, and I ask for you to be the same encouragement to your student.

Stay tuned for more information, and thanks for all you do at home to support our work with your student.
