Welcome to Health 8
Health 8 is a trimester course for eighth graders. Its purpose is to build knowledge, skills and decision making abilities that enhance healthy behavior and wellness. Health 8 is based on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Curriculum Frameworks.
State law requires your parents to be notified when you are taking a health course that includes the content of sexuality. If you have not returned your parent notification form, please do so as soon as possible. You will also need to bring in a three ring binder. The binder will be used to create a health and wellness portfolio and will hold the health materials you receive in class.
