Accelerated Reading:

Parent website is on the letter you received at Open House.

Put in the username and password that is also in the letter. Usernames are usually the first and last initials and 3 letters from the last name. Passwords are the first and last initials. You can check for quizzes and look at your child's record.

If you click on "My Bookshelf" and change the dates, you can see every book your child has read since he/she has been participating in AR.  Click on the book and you can see the score of the test.

timed test daily-four more, and the fourth will count as a grade (6 total)

Reading: 

We are working on the biography poster this week.

AR Points:  The second quarter will be 5; the third will be 7 points.  The fourth quarter will be 10 points.  This is the same requirement for the first quarter in fifth grade so the students will be prepared and hit the ground running in fifth grade.

Social Studies:

Began Chapter 4 -notes There will several worksheets, quizzes and a test on this chapter.

Worksheet  "Who's who" due tomorrow
